September 2020 Chris and Lucy are really great hosts. Chris welcomed us on arrival and gave us an overview of the amenities and the historical beach location. Crystal beach is a beautiful beach with great sand and sparkling water. The little beach house was a great escape from the city and a very close walk to the beach. Very clean, well organized and had all the amenities needed, plus more. Great, friendly hosts who respond quickly and are close by for any questions or concerns. Awesome weekend vaca!
September 2020 This cottage will exceed your expectations. The location is amazing, it couldn’t get any better. The house itself is brand new and it’s very well taken care of.
August 2020 We had a wonderful stay at Chris & Lucy’s place. The cottage was a walking distance from the beach. The cottage itself is really clean, with various amenities included. They responded quickly when we had any questions. Thank you so much for letting us stay at your cottage!
August 2020 Lucy and Chris they are wonderful. The cottage is very good, fresh and clean, the decorations, all the amnieties, we feel we are in a beach cottage. The cottage is very close to the beach. kids love the cottage. We hope to come back again. Thank you for you’re hospitality.
July 2020 Lucy and Chris have literally thought of everything. Any time we needed something we found it in the house. Very nice people who’s property is even nicer than the pictures. The beach passes were the icing on the cake with the beach being about a 5 minute walk from the cottage. We can not wait to come back soon! 11/10
July 2020 Great vacation home. Very close to the beach. The house is cute and nicely decorated. Lucy did a great job in adding the little things around the house to make you feel that you are on vacation. Both Lucy and Chris are really nice hosts. We would definitely be coming back and recommending to our family and friends.
June 2020 We were a group of 9 who stayed at Lucy’s home for a weekend. Given the COVID concerns, we were a bit dicey about staying in a place that we have never tried before but the place was sparkling clean and was stocked with everything that we need. The backyard is amazing and one of the best parts of the house. Lucy and Chris are great hosts and we can’t wait to book our second stay soon. |

July 2020 My family stayed at the front cottage & I have to say, the pictures do not do this place justice! It’s is brand new, well layed out and comfy. Lucy & Chris are wonderful hosts and I can tell they put their heart into this place. If you are looking for a family friendly, close to the beach, relaxing beach getaway than book this place without hesitation! The style of the cottage made it feel like a true beach getaway for us city dwellers that were desperate for a few days out of the city. We were also super grateful for the beach supplies on hand…not having to lug beach chairs, umbrellas and toys with us was such a huge plus! Our family are true lovers of the beach and Bay Beach itself is a wonderful place to frolic the day away. Shallow, sandy & clean (Website hidden by Airbnb) was more than we could ask for. We highly recommend this place to all!
July 2020 A truly lovely space. We had our 2 young kiddos with us and it was perfect. We could easily walk to the beach. Lucy and Chris also had a perfect little table and chairs so the kiddos could eat at their own height. Thoughtful touches.

June 2020 This little beach getaway is exactly what we needed. We needed somewhere close enough to Fort Erie to visit my grandparents but also somewhere close enough to a beach so my kids could go swimming as all the pools are closed right now due to covid-19. This little beach house was so beautiful, modern, completely beach themed which I adored & perfect for my little family of four. My son is 2, my daughter is 9, myself and my hubby enjoyed this getaway from the city so much its exactly what we needed. The hosts Lucy & Chris were absolutely amazing, went out of there way for us & my daughter made a new friend. This house had everything you need as a parent to cook & clean for your kids. Definitely the perfect family home away from home with the beach experience! We had so much fun! We will definitely be staying there again during our next visit.

June 2020 The best place, the best long weekend beach experience! Lucy and Chris are amazing hosts. Their place has everything you need to feel like home. This immaculate island cottage is beautiful, clean, modern and with a Stylish Beach Decoration, we did feel we were in a Caribbean House. We loved the experience, the conversations with Chris and Lucy, we enjoy play with their son and enjoy the fire pit and marshmallows. We will back soon for a week away from the city. January 2020 We rented the space to be nearby Niagara for New Years, absolutely beautiful home minutes from Lake Erie Looks like we will be back in the summer to enjoy the beaches there. Expect above and beyond hospitality, we couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more.
June 2020 the house is very new, everything inside too. A very complete and equipped kitchen. The whole house very clean. It is very close to the beach. Lucy and her husband are incredible people, very helpful. This house has a great cost x benefit.
February 2020 Lucy’s place is perfect. Everything was very clean. The photos do not do it justice. Our stay exceeded expectations. Lucy’s place has everything that you need and more. They are excellent hosts, I have never met anyone like them, kind and respectful. Thanks for everything. You are amazing.
August 2020 Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Crystal Beach! Lucy et Chris sont des hosts extraordinaires, et leur maison est fantastique! À deux pas de la magnifique plage, elle offre un confort exceptionnel, c’est bien simple: il ne manque rien! Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir. We had a great time at Crysta Beach! Lucy and Chris are great hosts and their home is fantastic! Just a few steps away from the beautiful beach, it offers an exceptional comfort, it’s quite simple: nothing is missing! We will return there with great pleasure.
September 2020 The cottage was very clean and had so many great little touches. We had a few days of bad weather but we did not mind because we loved spending time at the cottage. I would highly recommend the host and the cottage.
August 2020 I stayed here with my family (9 adults), and we had a great time. Lucy and Chris were amazing hosts. The cottage was very clean and it had everything we needed. If we weren’t at the beach, we were in their amazing backyard BBQ-ing, playing, or just chatting by the fire. Can’t wait to come again!
August 2020 The home was wonderful, great amenities and very clean. Lots of thoughtful touches. Very quick walk to the beach and outdoor area was the best part. BBQ, outdoor kitchen, lots of seating with a fire table. Only downside was that the beach passes require 100$ deposit per pass, so for 7 it was 700$ and this was requested via cash or e transfer only. This deposit was not in the original listing but as a separate message after booking. Other than this hiccup everything else was smooth.
August 2020 Unfortunately passes are not part of our airbnb listing this year because of covid and town limitations. We have passes available but a deposit is required. Upon booking we informed you of all requirements and it was your choice to pay the deposit for beach passes. You also had 48hrs to cancel your booking if you did not want to stay in our place. In the end, all worked out and we are glad you had a wonderful stay.

August 2020 This place is one of a kind it’s amazing in every sense of the word. Everything is nice and clean and in order. The hosts were super helpful and easy to communicate with. The backyard was truly a paradise and would recommend anyone to come and stay here as it’s also walking distance to the beach. Had an amazing time here.
July 2020 The home was sparkling clean and had all the amenities imaginable. It was a very close walk to the beach..only 2 minutes or so. The host was quick to respond if we had any questions. Would definitely return!! I highly recommend Lucy’s home.
July 2020 As advertised – walking distance from a beautiful beach, a hidden gem in Ontario. Lucy and Chris were most hospitable and very responsive. Space was very well-equipped, patio was a fun space to relax and lounge (hammock was awesome). The rental was large enough for our stay – we were a family of 7 adults. Very clean! Located in a friendly neighborhood, and close to a value mart for groceries. Lucy and Chris provided supplies for the beach as well, including beach chairs, umbrella, etc. Honestly it was just perfect for a summer getaway – highly recommended!

July 2020 My friends and I were lucky enough to come by this home/cottage after days of searching for the right spot. First off, Lucy and Chris could not have been more helpful with any questions I had. They were also there to greet us the minute we got there. Gave us the full tour as we arrived and helped us settle in. I had read the reviews about the pictures in the ad not doing the home justice, those reviews were correct in every way. Everything was extremely well cleaned, organized, and new looking/smelling. Beds were all comfortable, my group of 8 had 0 complaints from the time we arrived to the time leaving. The amenities were all amazing and all things that I thought needed to be brought such as beach towels, dish soaps, toilet paper, etc. were all there for us to use. Since leaving my group has been discussing our plans to return as an annual trip and I cannot wait to be back in this cottage and back on Crystal Beach. Thank you guys so much for everything.

I’ve had the pleasure of staying in both the front unit and the back unit (depending on the size of our group). The location is perfect, with an easy walk to the beach and plenty of parking. Both units are immaculate, with well stocked kitchens, supplies and enough comfortable beds for all. The units look professionally and newly decorated. We had easy and quick communication with our hosts, who were able to answer any inquiries, and also provide recommendations for food. Will definitely be back!
